Priorat DOQ wine region, Gratallops, Spain Day 9 & 10

Onward to the East, we settled into a 4 to 5 hour car ride which was the longest of the trip from the Rioja wine region (Haro, Spain) to the Priorat DOQ wine region and the town of Gratallops, Spain just south of Barcelona.

Friday: Aragon, Gratallops, Spain, stay at Cal Campana

4 pm wine tasting with Siliva Puig, Enumeros wine tasting next to our hotel

8 pm sunset wine tasting with Pica Pica at the mountaintop vineyards for Cellar Devinssi.  Jordi picks us up at the large pine tree with 2 wolves at the entrance to the village Aragon, Gratallops

Saturday:

11 am wine tasting Clos De L’Obac.  The original winery that restarted the Priorat region as a DOQ. 

Lunch at Atavius winery

7:30 pm. Dinner at the Slate wine Bar outside of our hotel, Slate wine bar open at 19:00 and the kitchen service starts at 19:30.
